Description: Seeking a partial garden refresh, the client in Biddulph, Staffordshire, opted for a solution that retained the existing structure while improving aesthetics. We proposed using sleepers to define borders and integrate steps, along with replacing old paving with new Indian stone for a refreshed look. To address the client’s dissatisfaction with the existing gravel area, we opted for a bound gravel (hoggin), offering a distinct material choice that wasn’t traditional paving nor loose gravel. This approach maintained the garden’s character while providing a refreshed appearance.
